Knock Down the Walls in the Mind

We learn at an early age to be builders of walls in our minds. The walls of limiting beliefs.

wall

We wall ourselves in unwittingly. After awhile, we can’t see the wood for the trees. The wall vanishes from our vision and we accept the limited area we now begin to operate in.

The challenge then is to become aware of our walls, prisons. How do we do that? Firstly it is becoming aware that we are capable of more than we normally give ourselves credit for. Begin to develop the courage to see that many of our so called limitations are purely in the Mind.

get out of jail

One way is to start a journal and write down what you are thinking. Begin to track your beliefs.

One of the keys to breaking free is waking up to our limiting thinking. We don’t know what we don’t know. Many of our walls are within our subconscious. Hidden from view.

The journey to freedom starts with waking up to possibilities. Waking up to our potential. We are not the labels that others give us, nor are we the labels that we give ourselves.

The challenge therefore, is to stop building walls in our minds and to start breaking them down…..

until next time

About selfhypnosisresource

Hi there. I have an interest in personal change - for the better and have done so for many years. I am working on meditation - that's a work in progress. I have been on a number of Vipassana retreats. I found these of great value. I also have an interest in self-hypnosis and how it can help with self improvement. My blog is on topics associated with personal change, hypnosis, Vipassana and Huna
