So what’s a guy writing a blog about self-hypnosis doing writing about Be-Do-Have & goal setting? What as Be-Do-Have got to do with self-hypnosis anyway?
Well, quite a bit really. You see, the Be is an inside job. What do I mean by an inside job? It’s all in the mind and subconscious. As I’ve mentioned before on this blog, Energy Flow Where Attention Goes. Our current behaviours, beliefs and thoughts are the result of past programming (hypnotising) of our subconscious. These beliefs etc all run on auto and most of the time we are unaware of them. We just do & think stuff. The trick is to become aware of those automatic programs! Some have likened those automatic programs to computer virus’. So what can be done about the past hypnotic suggestions that we have programmed our mind with?
Quite simple really – use self-hypnosis to reprogram our subconscious with better, more appropriate beliefs. Once that support us and help us to move toward the things we want in life. Using self-hypnosis we can program new beliefs, thinking and behaviours that help us achieve our goals.
By working on the Be of ourselves, we start to move towards our goals, rather than away from them or worse yet, sabotage them, leading us to give up and not try.
Let’s take the goal of having more money. If you’ve set a goal to have more money in your life, but things just don’t seem to be happening, more than likely your Be is not in alignment with the goal. What are your current thoughts, thinking and beliefs about money? Are you still doing the same things, but expecting a different result?
How do people with lots of money think? What do they believe about money? What is their attitude about money – having it and keeping it? These are the foundations of the Be. Without a Be that is supporting you – will you get what you want?
It does of course mean that you will have to change – but that is a positive change I think you will agree!
