Goal Achievement

You see a lot of information on how to set goals. How much information do you see on how to achieve your goals? Mostly this is left to follow your tasks…

goal2

You know the drill. set a goal, break it down into tasks, works the tasks and …… achieve your goal.

How many of us have followed the goal setting process then not achieved the goals you set? Oh you may have achieved or completed one or two small tasks, but did you achieve all your goals?

The focus of many goal programs is on DO – HAVE.  If you complete the tasks, you will achieve your goals.  This view ignores the BE.

It does not take into account the minds built in programs that sometimes work against you.

Here’s a question – do you have a clear image/movie of the goal you want to achieve? How clear is that image/movie? Can you feel yourself in the goal, having achieved it?

Are you reviewing those images daily?  If not, what images/movies are you playing in your mind?  Are they supporting you in the achievement of your goals or working against you?

Until next time

About selfhypnosisresource

Hi there. I have an interest in personal change - for the better and have done so for many years. I am working on meditation - that's a work in progress. I have been on a number of Vipassana retreats. I found these of great value. I also have an interest in self-hypnosis and how it can help with self improvement. My blog is on topics associated with personal change, hypnosis, Vipassana and Huna
