Be Do Have and Self Hypnosis

It is interesting that as I make this journey of personal change with self-hypnosis, a lot of the information I have gained from self help books over the years, seems to be reinforced!

One that stands out is about Be-Do-Have.  In order to Have, one must Do.  But to Do the right things, one must Be.  All too often I hear of people focusing on the Have and Doing but not really getting the results that they desire.  Why?  Because they are still the same person running the same unconscious programs.  Isn’t the definition of insanity “doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome”?  Well that is what happens.   People focus so much on the Have that they neglect to notice that they need to become a person that the Have is in alignment with.

That is where I am finding using self-hypnosis helping.  As I mentioned in a previous post, making sure you have a good script is an essential foundation.  The script helps to define the Be – what do you need to Be-come, in order to Have what you desire.  The Do are the actions that naturally follow Be-ing.  And with the Do in alignment with the Be, the Have follows right along behind!

So, if as in my case I am seeking great self confidence – I want to be-come more confident, so my actions (Do-ing) are those of a confident person.  As I reinforce the actions on a daily basis, I am becoming a confident person.  But alongside the actions, I am also visualising myself as a confident person and have changed my self talk to also reinforce my new self.

If you look closely, everything is self supporting and propelling me in the direction I desire. The hypnosis CD is embedding the new paradigm in my unconscious self and it to reinforces the desired outcome.
