Filling in the Gaps

While I was re-reading the Paul McKenna book and self-hypnosis CD,  I was struck with the thought at how well they complement each other.  Watching Biggest Loser and reading the Paul McKenna book got me thinking about filling in the gaps.  What do I mean by that?

In Biggest Loser, the coaches are there helping the contestants with the other pieces of the puzzle of loosing weight other than just working out – the right food and right portions etc.  It is the same with the Paul McKenna book.  There’s more support needed around making a personal change than just the change itself.  Hypnosis and self hypnosis can work directly on the area of change in the sub-conscious.  This is only part of the story.  To truly change my current paradigm I also need to see the bigger picture and understand the other areas of my life that need to change to support my intended change.

The book and hypnosis CD work together to help build a bridge to the new life paradigm.

So what am I saying?  That for me, having something else that works alongside the hypnosis program seem to make more sense and also assist with the desired change.  As I mentioned in my last post, having a good script is essential.  Having a good script with a good supporting cast is essential too.

Until next time

About selfhypnosisresource

Hi there. I have an interest in personal change - for the better and have done so for many years. I am working on meditation - that's a work in progress. I have been on a number of Vipassana retreats. I found these of great value. I also have an interest in self-hypnosis and how it can help with self improvement. My blog is on topics associated with personal change, hypnosis, Vipassana and Huna
