Time & Repetition

Yes time.   Success, or failure, depends on how much time you devote to this change.  Listening to self hypnosis CD’s  or self hypnosis MP3’s requires 30 minutes of your day – if you only listen once a day.  I have found that the more time that I devote to listening to the self hypnosis CD’s & MP’s  the greater the benefit I have got from them.  So if you are serious about making changes in your life then you have to set aside the time to develop the new you – as I have found.  Change doesn’t happen overnight!  In my case it has taken me over 50 years to get to where I am today so I can’t expect things to change overnight now can I? 😀

The other observation is that repetition is necessary J.  You have to keep pressing play!  Somewhere I heard that it takes 30 days to form a new habit and 90 days for it to be ingrained!  So, being serious about making the changes I want (more confidence and self assurance) then I will be pressing play for more than 90 days! 🙂

Even after a month I feel different.  I have been listening to the Paul McKenna self hypnosis CD (I put it on my iPod & computer) for a month now.  I am noticing subtle changes in my attitude.  I am calmer

I listen to the self hypnosis CD on my way to the office (I catch a ferry & the ride just happens to be 30 minutes long 🙂 ).  I try and listen in the evenings as well but am not too successful with fitting that into my time…. L

Till next time

About selfhypnosisresource

Hi there. I have an interest in personal change - for the better and have done so for many years. I am working on meditation - that's a work in progress. I have been on a number of Vipassana retreats. I found these of great value. I also have an interest in self-hypnosis and how it can help with self improvement. My blog is on topics associated with personal change, hypnosis, Vipassana and Huna
